The Writer's Hotel (and Other Things Like Cheddar in the Clam Chowder)
At the beginning of June, I attended The Writer's Hotel in Phippsburg, MA. This was my first trip to Maine. It very much reminded me of home in the PNW (well, in some ways) with all the green and water. It is always nice to get away from the City and its busyness. I was in Elizabeth Hand's group, where I workshopped the first pages of my newest novel and got some great feedback. Naturally, I'm excited to dive back into this horror/thriller and keep it moving! It's mostly that I hate being perceived, which makes life difficult at times. In all honesty, I probably would have been fine if it were karaoke night. I do love me some karaoke.
